Medlow Bath Dam

From Engineering Heritage New South Wales

When completed in 1907 this dam was the most slender arch dam in the world and represented an internationally acknowledged step forward in pioneering cylindrical concrete arch dams. It was a daring and innovative design by L A B Wade and was built by the NSW Public Works Department at a time when Australian engineers were showing greater independence from British practice.

The reservoir is called Lake Medlow.
